River Landing Inn       

Welcome to the River Landing Inn.  Our four guest room bed and breakfast, located in Saxapahaw, North Carolina, is within 20 minutes of Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Pittsboro, Mebane, Hillsborough and Burlington, and less than an hour from Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro and Winston-Salem.  This beautiful spot is the perfect location in which to spend a relaxing weekend enjoying the outdoors, and with all the comforts of home.  The Inn sits on over 20 acres of rolling pastures and hardwood forest, along the banks of the Haw River.

The beauty of the Piedmont is well reflected on the grounds of River Landing Inn.  Hickory, oak, and dogwood trees abound.  Blackberry bushes line our entryway and paths.  Acres of rolling pasture surrounds the Inn, and lead to a walking trail overlooking the Haw River.  Deer, rabbits, a wide variety of birds and other wildlife are seen from our comfortable front porch, along the walking trails, or from the privacy of your own patio.

A delicious breakfast is cooked to order as part of your stay at River Landing Inn.  Fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and a variety of teas are also available when you begin your day.  With advance notice, we can accommodate any dietary request.  Want to sleep in?  Not a problem, your breakfast will be available until check-out time.  Lunch and dinner are also available, and prepared to order, should you choose to dine at River Landing Inn during your visit.  You can take your meals in our large common area, on the front porch, on your private patio, or in your room.  The choice is yours.

Benjamin Vineyards, one of the award-winning wineries on the Haw River Wine Trail, is within walking distance of the River Landing Inn.  Enjoy being on the water?  The Haw River Canoe and Kayak Company, provides rentals and paddling tours for those wanting to spend a day on the river.  Need a massage?  Just ask, as the River Landing Inn can arrange for a licensed massage therapist to loosen those aching muscles.

We can host any event, large or small, on the grounds of the River Landing Inn.  Weddings, business meetings, reunions, celebrations and other special events can all be accommodated.  Please contact us to speak with one of our onsite event planners.
